STEP ONE: Please carefully read the following terms and conditions of the stay and booking

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE STAY AT BACKPACKER DE LA BARRA

• You can check in after 13:00 Hs.
• If you arrive before 13:00 Hs, you'll be allowed to check in only if your bed is vacant.
• If you have a booking, you will have to show the confirmation receipt (e-mail, fax, receipt, etc.).
• You will have to present your Passport, fill a short form and pay for the whole stay reserved, with cash or credit card.

• The day of your departure, you will have to leave your bed and locker unconditionally before 11:00 Hs 
• If you don't leave your bed and locker at 11:00 Hs, the Backpacker reserves the right to take out your personal effects and/or charge you a fine of 10 dollars per hour of delay in leaving them vacant.
• When checking out, you will have to return the set of sheets and the towel that were given to you when arriving. Within your locker you must have left the pillow.
• You will be charged with 30 dollars per missing item.

COEXISTENCE NORMS

• Respect the absolute silence of which are resting between 02:00 hs and 10:00 hs.
• Leave your room for its cleaning between 14:00hs and 18:00hs.
• Always be respectful with your roommates, specially when order, silence and moral conventions are concerned.
• Do not to leave personal objects in bathrooms and common areas.
• Maintain the cleaning and neatness of the common use areas, specially the bathrooms and rooms.

PROHIBITIONS

• Smoke, drink or eat in rooms, bathrooms and corridors of the Backpacker.
• Leave your properties outside of your locker.
• Wash clothes in the bathrooms.
• Dry clothes or towels in the room.
• Use or sleep in a bed not assigned.
• Use a locker not assigned
• Sleep in a bed without sheets.
• Listen to music or radio without headphones.
• All alcoholic beverages consumed within Backpacker's perimeter must be acquired at Hostel's Store.

*These extra services can be free or for a fee and can be provided or denied anytime to anyone by the administration according to circumstances or season of the year, or modified without previous notice.

• The Backpacker reserves the right of admission and permanence, and will not be responsible for any missing, stolen or lost goods.
• The violation of anyone of these norms, as well as the theft or destruction of furniture or other objects belonging to the Backpacker will have as consequence the immediate expulsion of the establishment without right to reclamation nor the return of paid stays, in addition to the obligation of the payment of the repairs or corresponding replacements.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE BOOKING

• You can request a booking filling the booking form below on this page.
• In all cases, it is required an advance deposit of the cost of one night per person and the 20% of the rest of the stay booked as reservation fee.
• For the New Year Package we require the full payment of the stay in advance when booking.
• This reservation fee will be credited to your favor when you check in.
• Any advance deposit is lost automatically when:
  1. You cancel your booking.
  2. You don't show, loosing also the booking and your stay if paid in advance.
  3. You stay for a shorter time than booked.
• Under no circumstances will be taken as accepted a booking without the reservation fee, written confirmation from us and booking number .
• The simple fact of filling and sending the booking form of our website does not guarantee the booking, which will depend on availability and confirmation.
• You can pay with Western Union, VISA, Mastercard or American Express.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Any advance deposit is lost automatically when:
  1. You cancel your booking.
  2. You don't show, loosing also the booking and your stay if paid in advance.
  3. You stay for a shorter time than booked.
• Stays paid in advance have the following refund policy:
  1. Cancellation with more than 90 days in advance to the arrival date: 70% of the total amount paid.
  2. Cancellation with more than 60 days in advance to the arrival date: 40% of the total amount paid.
  3. Cancellation with less than 60 days in advance to the arrival date: 0% of the total amount paid.
• Without a written notice 24 hs in advance of your arrival day, it is considered NO SHOW when you don't check in before 21:00 hs (9 PM) of your booked arrival day, loosing the booking and any advance deposit.
• Other than the exposed before, there are no refunds.

No alcoholic beverages from outside the Hostel are allowed. All alcoholic beverages consumed within Backpacker's perimeter must be acquired at Hostel's Store.

When checking in, it is required a deposit as guarantee of US$ 50/person, refundable when checking out.
